Itchy-free tag day

Have you noticed that most shirts don't have tags on the back anymore? The size and some directions are printed in matching color on the inside of the shirt. I love it! Especially for baby clothes. No more itchy tags! Two problems: My boys are so hasty in dressing that they put the shirt on backwards. No itchy tag reminder. Second, hand-me-downs are the enemy. Poor Andrew (third in line for all things) has been spoiled by a few new (non-itchy) shirts from Grandma and feels extremely put-upon if he has to wear any shirts with the medievil tags. Even when the shirt is so worn that the tag is barely there he complains that it itches him. I guess he'll just have to wait a few years to catch up to the tagless hand-me-downs. This is the first day of school, BTW.

what a cute picture of the first day of school! max absolutely hates tags on his shirts, even if they're the soft, silky ones, he always freaks out and attempts to reach back there and rip it out like some insect is biting him.

Someday, they will tell their grandchildren they once had tags on their clothes and none of them will believe it! I'll bet the volume in my house is louder than yours now! I did read all of Midnight Sun. It makes me want to start over with the series but....when???

Ha! I love tagless shirts, esp. on the babies. They don't make smaller tags for baby clothes, so the tags end up taking up 1/3 of their back. Obnoxious. I'll have to remember that Andrew = tagless shirts only when we have him for cousin exchange for Christmas...

Speaking of that, who normally organizes that, and has that already been done for this year??
