It took me two hours to pick these babies. Seven of the nine vines that Dirk planted produced this year. I got 28 quarts of juice (thanks, mom for the juicer/steamer) Can't begin to describe how delicious it tastes.
Wow, wow, wow is all I have to say! I would love some kind of fruit in our yard - raspberries, grapes, whatever. I am just completely impressed by your gardening/canning output. You go!
that is totally AMAZING!!! how many years did you have to wait to get grapes off of your vines? my dad planted grape vines a few years back and they just died on him...he wasn't too happy about that. i'll have to make sure and tell him to check out your blog and drool and little :) that is gorgeous stuff!
Love it! How come I've never seen these wonderful grape vines? Looks like you had a great time nonetheless. Great pictures. I love the "cousins" pics. SOOOOO cute!!!!
Your garden just has me green with envy. What a glorious endeavor! It looks so rewarding. I just keep chanting to myself, "someday, someday." Thanks for sharing your bounty with us. :-D
